terms of service - private commission

1. General
About the Artist & Rights
I, the artist, retain all rights, copyrights, and ownership of the commissioned artwork (including sketches, line art, and the final piece). You are purchasing the usage rights to the artwork, not the artwork itself.Portfolio & Social Media
I have the right to display the artwork in my portfolio, show the process (including sketches), and post the final illustration on my social media channels to promote myself and my services. I may also post cropped parts of the work process without disclosing the title or the full image. Except NDAClient Responsibilities
You are responsible for providing timely payment, feedback, approval, and all necessary information (brief, references, mood boards) to ensure the project runs smoothly.
You are welcome to: Use the artwork for personal, non-commercial purposes (as an icon, profile banner, personal print, gift.). Credit is always appreciated when you share it online.Right to Refuse
I reserve the right to decline any commission request for any reason.AI Policy
My work does not include any AI assistance and must not be used for AI generation. By hiring me, you agree not to use any part of the artwork, including sketches or line art, for AI generation purposes. Feeding my artwork into AI models is a direct violation of my Terms of Service.2. Payments & Fees
Payment ScheduleOption A (Default): 100% payment is required after you approve the sketch.Option B (Negotiable): If requested, we can arrange a 50/50 split. In this case:- 50% upfront (non-refundable, secures your slot).- 50% upon completion.Payment MethodsBoosty: I currently accept payment via Boosty (bank cards accepted).
Turnaround Time
I work on commissions in the order they are received, typically completing pieces within 2 weeks. The maximum turnaround time is 2 months, depending on my current workload and the number of commissions in the queue. I will communicate proactively if any delays occur.Refunds
Refunds are generally not available. Please commission only if you are certain of your purchase. (Note: 50% upfront payments are non-refundable as they secure your time slot).Commercial License
A non-exclusive commercial license (for book covers, merchandise, etc.) costs at least 100% of the overall commission price (for indie authors). A full NDA (Non-Disclosure Agreement) will add 25% to the price.short tutorial on how to make a payment on Boosty:
